Hey there stampers! Hope you are having a terrific weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

INGREDIENTS:

  • STAMPS: D is for Dog
  • INK: Basic Black
  • PAPER: Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White

Very Thankful Turtle

Hey there stampers! Thanks for stopping by!  I had a great weekend and hope you did too!  Friday night I had some fabulous ladies over to stamp and eat some delish appetizers supplied by my friend and Tastefully Simple Consultant, Rachel.  Saturday we did more stamping with a second group of ladies and Sunday I had kitty adoptions where both my fosters got wonderful homes and went to the "drive in" movies with my family at the community center!  Fun!
Today's card is another made with the turtle from the Very Thankful stamp set.  I just love this little guy so I stamped him a few times and put together another few cards with him for Rachel to thank her for donating all the yummies!

You Stole My Heart!

Hey there stampers! Thanks for stopping by!

Today's card is the last of my Valentine's Stamp Camp cards that we made this weekend.  I think it is super cute especially since it is not in the typical color scheme of Valentines and even better I used up a bunch of my left over card kits from my Christmas Stamp a Stack!

STEPS:

  1. Stamp the heart and snowflake? jack? image from the Hello Again stamp set in Rich Razzleberry and Bermuda Bay ink on Whisper White card stock.  For the hearts I inked once and stamped twice to get the lighter and darker images.
  2. Add a panel of Bermuda Bay card stock punched with the Scallop Edge Punch to the back of your Whisper White piece and wrap some Bermuda Bay Polka Dotted Ribbon around it using a little Snail to keep it in place for the moment.
  3. Add that to a panel of Rich Razzleberry card stock and punch a hole for your brad with the 1/16" Circle Punch.  Add the heart brad (non-SU) and adhere to Whisper White card stock base.
  4. Stamp the raccoon from the Love Bandit stamp set in Jet Black Stazon and color in using Sahara Sand and Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Write Markers.  Punch with the 1 1/4" Square Punch and layer onto Basic Black punched with the Scallop Square Punch.
  5. Adhere onto card with Dimensionals.

INGREDIENTS:

  • STAMPS: Hello Again, The Love Bandit
  • INK: Bermuda Bay, Rich Razzleberry, Jet Black Stazon
  • PAPER: Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay, Basic Black
  • ACCESSORIES: Bermuda Bay Polka Dot Ribbon, Heart Brad (non-SU), Dimensionals

Love You A Latte

Hey there stampers! Hope you are having a fabulous weekend!  I had the first of my two Valentine Stamp Camps last night and it was such fun to see everyone!  This afternoon I have the second bunch of ladies coming to stamp and I know it will be a fun time!
Today's project is the 3-D item we are making at my stamp camps.  It's a simple but super cute treat perfect for teachers and co-workers!  I simply decorated an individually wrapped Nonni's Biscotti and added the "Love You A Latte" stamp from the Pun Fun stamp set as the tag!

Here I moved the tag over so you can see the stamping underneath.
STEPS:

  1. Using your Big Shot and the Top Note Die die cut Pretty in Pink card stock and stamp the hearts from the I (Heart) Hearts stamp set with Rose Red ink.  Make sure you stamp it so when you wrap your biscotti in it that the hearts are facing the right way. ;)
  2. After stamping run the top note piece through the Big Shot again with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and punch a hole in the top to run the ribbon through with the 1/8" Circle Punch.
  3. Tie Pretty in Pink Striped Ribbon through the top and tie into a bow with your biscotti inside.
  4. To make the tag take the "Love You A Latte" stamp from the Pun Fun stamp set and stamp in Versamark ink on Whisper White card stock.  Sprinkle on Black Embossing Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool.
  5. Color in with Stampin' Write Markers in Creamy Caramel and Regal Rose and punch with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch.  Punch a small hole in the top with the 1?16" Circle Punch and tie onto package with Silver Elastic Cording.

INGREDIENTS:

  • STAMPS: Pun Fun, I (Heart) Hearts
  • INK: Versamark, Rose Red
  • PAPER: Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
  • ACCESSORIES: Pretty in Pink Striped Ribbon, Silver Elastic Cording, Black Embossing Powder

  4. Adhere to Real Red card stock base after punching bottom with the Eyelet Border Punch.  Add a strip of Whisper White card stock to inside of the card to show the border off.
  5. Add a srtip of Sending Love Specialty DSP above border.

Cute Ladybug Punch Art

Hey there stampers! Thanks for stopping by to see me today!

Today's card is one I designed with one of my friends and customers, Marcella.  She wanted to do a ladybug theme in pink for her daughter's 3rd birthday party invitations.  I took the extra one we made and played around changing it just a bit but the original one is super cute-just simpler since we had to make like 35 of them!

oops the pic is a little crooked!

this one is a little blurry but you get the idea :)

STEPS:

  1. Roll the Really Retro Wheel in Gable Green ink and stamp onto the bottom portion of a piece of Whisper White card stock.  Mat onto Gable Green card stock and add to the left side of a Basic Black card stock base.
  2. Die cut Pink Passion card stock with the Scallop Circle #2 Die (the bigger scallop circle was used) and cut it in half.  Add Basic Black punched with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch behind the Pink Passion halves for the body and adhere to the card.
  3. Punch Blush Blossom card stock with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch and add to card covering where the large scallop circles meet.  Add Pink Passion punched with the 3/4" Circle Punch for cheeks and draw in the eyes, nose and mouth with a pen.
  4. To make the black part on its head, take the 1" Circle Punch and punch about 1/3 of the circle out twice right next to each other.  Then take the 1 3/4" Circle Punch and punch out over the partial circles to make the "cap" (Clear as mud right?)  Add to ladybug face.
  5. Add Basic Black spots using the 1/2" and 1" Circle Punches and add to body.  Add Pink Passion circles punches with the 1/2" Circle Punch.
  6. To make the antennae, punch part of a 1 3/4" Circle in Basic Black and then bring the punch back in and punch out just a sliver of the crescent created.  Cut it in half and you have two antennae.  I added 3/4" Basic Black Circles with Dimensionals for fun.
  7. Add more Pink Passion Circles down the side alternating popping them up with Dimensinals.
  8. I added a panel of Whisper White to the inside and added some of my extra pieces to decorate.

INGREDIENTS:

  • STAMPS: Really Retro Wheel
  • INK: Black Pen, Gable Green Wheel Cartridge
  • PAPER: Basic Black, Whisper White, Gable Green, Pink Passion
  • ACCESSORIES: Dimensionals
  • TOOLS: 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1 3/4" Circle Punches, Big Shot, Scallop Circles #2 Die

STEPS:

  1. Stamp the flower image from Simply Said in Basic Black on Whisper White.  Notch out corners with the Ticket Corner Punch.
  2. Add stamped panel to a piece of Night & Day Specialty DSP and mat onto Whisper White and finally onto a card base of Basic Black card stock.

Sneak Peek from my Class this Sat.

Hey there stampers! Thanks for stopping by today!
Today's card is one we are doing at my Desk Top Calendar and Thank You Note Class this Sat.  I am using the Very Thankful stamp set on all of the cards.  Not only is it a great and inexpensive stamp set but Stampin' Up donates $2 of every set sold to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.  They choose a different stamp set every year just for this cause.  Gotta love that!

STEPS:

  1. Stamp the turtle image from the Very Thankful stamp set in Jet Black Stazon onto Whisper White and color in with Stampin; Write Markers.  Mat onto Soft Suede card stock.
  2. Mat a panel of Christmas Cocoa DSP onto Soft Suede card stock and then onto a card base of Kraft card stock.
  3. Add a strip of Old Olive card stock and adhere main image to card.  Add three circles of Soft Suede punched with the 1/2" Circle Punch with 1/4" punched Christmas Cocoa DSP to the card.

INGREDIENTS:

  • STAMPS: Very Thankful
  • INK: Jet Black Stazon, Stampin' Write Markers
  • PAPER: Kraft, Whisper White, Soft Suede, Christmas Cocoa DSP, Old Olive
  • TOOLS: 1/4" and 1/2" Circle Punches

Elegant Bouquet for a Fab Friend :)

Hey there stampers! Happy Monday!  Hope you had a great weekend!  Mine was spent being lazy for the most part and it was wonderful! :)
Today's card is one I made over the weekend trying to come up with my thank you cards for my upcoming class.  I decided against it because the coloring of the embossed flowers was a little time consuming- especially if you are a perfectionist.  When you have 12 ladies in your class and you all have to share the same set of Stampin' Write Markers you just can't have a time consuming coloring project. :)

STEPS:

  1. Using the Big Shot and the Elegant Bouquet Embossing folder, emboss a piece of Pale Plum card stock.  Color in the raised images with Stampin' Write Markers and adhere to a Perfect Plum card base.
  2. Stamp the sentiment from the Oval All stamp set in Perfect Plum ink.  Color in flowers with Pale Plum Marker and punch with the Large Oval Punch.
  3. Layer sentiment onto Perfect Plum punched with the Scallop Oval Punch and adhere to card with Dimensionals.
  4. Add Organza ribbon (craft store) and tie into a knot.

INGREDIENTS:

  • STAMPS: Oval All
  • INK: Perfect Plum, Stampin' Write Markers
  • PAPER: Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Whisper White
  • ACCESSORIES: Organza Ribbon
  • TOOLS: Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Elelgant Bouquet Embossing Folder, Big Shot

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you here again soon!

2 Challenges in 1!

Hey there stampers! Happy Sunday!

I was browsing through my google reader list and saw the new challenge with the Opus Gluei girls and Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge-I knew I had to combine the two especially after seeing Vicki's card HERE.  I had to CASE it!  The Opus Gluei challenge was to use stars in your project and Karen's sketch is simple and cute!

STEPS:

  1. Punch stars out of the Christmas Cocoa DSP using the Star and Small Star Punches and layer together, leaving one extra small star for the bottom.
  2. Using the 1/16" Circle Punch punch holes to insert star brads (local craft store).
  3. Adhere to panels of the Christmas Cocoa DSP onto a mat of Soft Suede card stock and then onto your Whisper White card base.
  4. Stamp the sentiment from the Stem Sayings stamp set in Versamark and sprinkle White Embossing Powder on it.  Heat set with Heat Tool.
  5. Add stars.  I used Dimensionals on the big star in the middle and on the small one on the bottom.

INGREDIENTS:

  • STAMPS: Stem Sayings
  • INK: Versamark
  • PAPER: Whisper White, Christmas Cocoa DSP, Soft Suede
  • ACCESSORIES: Star Brads, Dimensionals, White Embossing Powder
  • TOOLS: Star Punches, Heat Tool

So glad you stopped by and hope you have a great rest of your weekend!
