1 Card 3 Challenges!

Hey there stampers! Hope you are having a terrific weekend!  It's been a busy one for us.  I had a garage sale yesterday that pretty much consumed my day but was fun and today we are packing up our trailer for our first camping trip of the season next weekend.  We are praying that we have great weather so we can enjoy the boat and beach!

Today's card combines 3 challenges!  First I used the challenge colors of the week brought to us by the ladies at the Diva Coffee Break Designs blog to use Pretty in Pink, Close to Cocoa and Certainly Celery.  Next I used the Mojo Monday sketch of the week and finally I made a fun dimensional flower using the Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch to qualify for the Cute Card Thursday challenge to make it dimensional!

STEPS:

  1. Start with a Certainly Celery card stock base and run it through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing folder.
  2. Stamp the large image from the Fresh Cuts stamp set in Certainly Celery on Whisper White and mat onto Pretty in Pink.  Adhere to card.
  3. Add some Certainly Celery Grosgrain Ribbon around card hiding the ends under where you will add the flower later.
  4. Die cut Certainly Celery and Close to Cocoa card stock using the Big Shot and the Little Leaves Sizzlit.  Spritz the Certainly Celery leaves using the Certainly Celery Stampin' Write Marker and the Color Spritzer Tool to add some interest.  Adhere to card using the 2-Way Glue Pen (easier to apply to little stem areas than SNAIL)
  5. Punch Pretty in Pink card stock with the Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch 3 times and crumple up and unfold.  Sponge edges with Pretty in Pink ink.  Add a pink brad to the center and adhere to card using Dimensionals.

INGREDIENTS:

  • STAMPS: Fresh Cuts
  • INK: Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink
  • PAPER: Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, Whisper White, Close to Cocoa
  • ACCESSORIES: Certainly Celery Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals, Brad
  • TOOLS: Paper Piercer, Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch, Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Little Leaves Sizzlit.

Hey there stampers! I'm so glad you stopped by to visit me today!

Birthday Bot

Hey there stampers! I'm happy you stopped by today!
Today's card is the last of the ones we made at my Birthday Stamp Camp.  It's a revised version of the one I made HERE.  It's a  CASE of one I saw on Splitcoast Stampers HERE.  It's a cute card but a lot of my stamping ladies hated the binary code stamp and using the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig!  Sorry guys!  It just takes a bit of practice.  A few stamped the code over and over throughout the whole background and it looked great even if it wasn't "perfect".  Good job, girls!

STEPS:

  1. Stamp the robot from the Lots of Bots stamp set in Versamark Ink after wiping the Whisper White card stock with the Embossing Buddy to remove any static or oils from your fingers.  Sprinkle Black Embossing Powder over it and tap off the excessinto your Powder Pal.  Return the excess to your container to use again.  Heat set with Heat Tool.
  2. Color the robot in using Stampin' Write Markers and punch side with the Spiral Punch.
  3. Stamp the binary code in Bermuda Bay using the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig along the top and bottom of your card base of Bermuda Bay card stock.
  4. Add a square of Basic Black card stock to your card and adhere your stamped piece on top.
  5. Add a panel of Brushed Silver card stock with some Black Grosgrain Ribbon tied around it with a knot.
  6. Stamp the nuts and bolts image in Basic Black on Whisper White and punch with the 3/4" Circle Punch.  Add to Basic Black punched with the 1" Circle punch and adhere to card with a Dimensional.

INGREDIENTS:

  • STAMPS: Lots of Bots
  • INK: Basic Black, Versamark, Bermuda Bay, Stampin' Write Markers
  • PAPER: Bermuda Bay, Basic Black, Whisper White, Brushed Silver
  • ACCESSORIES: Black Grograin Ribbon, Dimensionals
  • TOOLS: Spiral, 3/4" and 1" Circle Punches, Stamp-A-Ma-Jig

Happy Stampin'!
