Something's Fishy

Hey there stampers! Thanks for checking in with me this weekend!  It's a lazy Saturday over here at the Fortuna house mostly because we are all sick with a head cold and feel miserable!  Not exactly what I had planned for my birthday weekend! blah!
Today's card is one more from the stack I made for my work's silent auction.  The picture is terrible-it does not look all blotchy and faded in person really!

STEPS:

  1. Stamp the cat from the C is For Cat stamp set in Basic Black on Whisper White and mat onto Real Red and then Basic Black card stock.
  2. Stamp the fish image from the same set in Basic Black on the sides of your Whisper white card base and add the kitty panel.
  3. Stamp the paw print in Basic Black and punch out with the 3/4" Circle Punch and mat on Basic Black punched with the 1" Circle Punch.  Add to card with Dimensionals.

INGREDIENTS:

  • STAMPS: C is for Cat
  • INK: Basic Black
  • PAPER: Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White
  • ACCESSORIES: Dimensionals
  • TOOLS: 3/4" and 1" Circle Punches

Have a great day!

Here Kitty, Kitty!

Hey there stampers! Thanks for stopping by!
Today's card is another from the sets I made for the Non-Profit that I work for.  I didn't add a sentiment to this one so they can personalize it as they wish!

STEPS:

  1. Stamp the paw images from the C is for Cat stamp set in the middle of a piece of Whisper White.  Add the cats from the All in the Family stamp set and color in with Stampin' Write Markers.
  2. Mat onto Basic Black.  Stamp paw image from the D is for Dog stamp set in Basic Black on a whisper White card stock base and add the matted panel to it.

INGREDIENTS:

  • STAMPS: D is for Dog, C is for Cat, All in the Family
  • INK: Stampin' Write Markers, Basic Black
  • PAPER: Whisper White, Basic Black
Hope you have a super day!

Happy Birthday,Molly!

Hey there stampers! Thanks for stopping by!

Today's card is a birthday card for my fabulous friend, Molly. She's the one who makes my blog look so pretty! It's her birthday today and I hope she has a terrific day!

I used a retired stamp set called Here Kitty, Kitty, the new C is for Cat stamp set and the Hostess Level 3 set called The More the Merrier to make this card. It is a stair step fold card and super fun with it's multi levels.

STEPS:

  1. Take your Kraft card stock cut at 10 1/2" x 5 1/2" and score at 1 1/4", 2 1/2", 4 1/4", 6" and 8 1/4". Fold to make mountains and valleys.
  2. Using Jet Black Stazon stamp the background using the paw print and fish images from the C is for Cat set, the mouse and yarn images are from the Here Kitty, Kitty set.
  3. Stamp the kitties in Jet Black Stazon, color and cut out. Stamp the cupcakes from the More the Merrier stamp set in Jet Black Stazon on a strip of Whisper White card stock and color in.
  4. Add White Gel Pen doodle dots to the edges of Bermuda Bay die cut with the Scallop Circles #2 Sizzix Bigz Die, adhere to back panel of card. Punch Kraft card stock with 1 3/4" circle Punch and adhere to center of scallop circle.
  5. Stamp sentiment from Here Kitty Kitty set on a square of Whisper White card stock, mat on Kraft and add Kraft card stock punched with Word Window Punch to make the sign.
INGREDIENTS:

  • STAMPS: Here Kitty, Kitty (retired), C is for Cat (#115764), The More the Merrier Hostess Level 3
  • INK: Jet Black Stazon, Stampin' Write Markers
  • PAPER: Paper name, Kraft, Whisper White, Bermuda Bay
  • ACCESSORIES: Word Window Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Scallop Circles #2 Sizzix Bigz Die, Dimensionals

C is for CAT

Hi there Stampers! Hope you are having a great day!

Today's card is one I have been waiting for soooo long to make! Being a crazy cat lady this was the first stamp set I wanted in the new catty. I ordered it while on vacation so it would be here when I got home waiting for me patiently like a good kitty should. :) When I got home after driving all day I kissed my hubbie hello and went straight to my craft room to find my new beloved stamp set. I ripped open the box and it wasn't there!!!! I did, however, receive a stamp set I didn't order but it was in French! Of course sometimes these things happen but why THAT set? Anyway SU is always so great in resolving issues so I finally got my set yesterday. :) :) :)

This is what I made :)

It is so much cuter in person! So simple but I love it. I used Black Stazon ink, Whisper White and Real Red cardstock-that's it!

Don't forget today is the LAST DAY to enter to win my BLOG CANDY from Friday's post. I only have about 10 entries so you have a pretty good chance to win!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
Elizabeth
