Happy Birthday CASE

Hey there stampers! I'm glad you stopped to visit me today!
Today's card is one I CASEd from Tammy over at her Stamp with Tammy blog
I used the Party Hearty and All Holidays stamp sets and Summer Sun, Bermuda Bay and Real Red.  It's pretty self explanatory other than I did stamp off first when stamping the hats to get a lighter image so the sentiment was sure to show up.

Hope you are having a great day!

It Was My Birthday Yesterday!

Hey there stampers!  Thanks for stopping by! Sorry I didn't post anything yesterday-my whole family has been sooo sick! I am coughing my brains out and have a Nyquil hangover-that stuff is potent!
Today's card is one I got from my fabulous upline, Janelle Lavelle-she never forgets me! :)  She used the Party Hearty stamp set and the Rock N Roll technique and also Melon Mambo card stock and Razzleberry Lemonade DSP.  It is so cute and cheery!  Thanks Janelle!

Have a terrific day and pray that I get better soon!

Stair Step Fold Card

Hey there stampers! How are you? Thanks for stopping by!
Today's card is a stair step card. I've seen quite a few of these around and finally had the chance to make one myself! It's easy and a nice change from the average A2 card. I found a great tutorial about the stair step card HERE.

STEPS:

  1. Take Kraft card stock cut at 5 1/2" x 10 1/2" and score at 1 1/4", 2 1/2", 4 1/4", 6", and 8 1/4". Fold at scores to create your card base.
  2. Take the candle image from the Party Hearty stamp set and stamp in Versamark ink on the back panel and front panel.
  3. Using Stampin' Write Markers ink up your party hats image and stamp on Whisper White cut at 1" x 4 1/4". Stamp the cupcake image on scrap Whisper White and cut out. Stamp the center of the B is for birthdays image in Rose Red and punch with the 3/4" Circle Punch. Clean off stamp and stamp again using Close to Cocoa and Bermuda Bay Stampin' Write Markers on Whisper White and punch out with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch.
  4. Add White Gel Pen doodle dots around a scallop circle in Bermuda Bay made with the Scallop Circles #2 Sizzix Bigz die and adhere to back panel of card. Punch two Only Orange Scallop Circles and add behind the B is for Birthdays circle. Add to Bermuda Bay Scallop Circle. Add center of B is for Birthdays image with a Dimensional.
  5. Mat party hats on Close to cocoa cut at 4 1/2" x 1 1/2" and add to center panel of card. Add cupcake image to front of card.
  6. Stamp sentiment in Close to Cocoa on Whisper White, punch with Word Window. Add to Bermuda Bay punched with Modern Label Punch, add to Only Orange punched with 1" Circle Punch and finally add to Close to Cocoa punched with Designer Label Punch. Adhere to front panel.
INGREDIENTS:

  • STAMPS: Party Hearty (#111532)
  • INK: Close to Cocoa, Versamark, Stampin' Write Markers in Bermuda Bay, Pretty in Pink, Close to Cocoa, Rose Red, Only Orange, Creamy Caramel
  • PAPER: Paper name, Kraft, Only Orange, Close to Cocoa, Whisper White, Bermuda Bay

A New Challenge to Love!

Hi there stampers! Happy Friday to you!

While surfing around I found another challenge blog to play along with called the Pals Paper Arts blog. This is their first challenge and I was more than happy to play along with them! :) Their first challenge was to use Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Chocolate Chip.

These colors were easy to work with and I paired it with the Mojo Monday sketch of the week.

The result was this cute birthday card. I used the Party Hearty stamp set (#111532), the Retro Remix Wheel (#115619), and some Razzleberry Lemonade DSP (#115675) along with Bermuda Bay ink (#115655)and cardstock (#115317), my Coluzzle (don't have the Circle Scissors yet!) Chocolate Chip (#102128) and Whisper White (#100730)cardstock, 3/4" Circle Punch(#107217), Photo Corners Punch (#109042)and Dimensionals(#104430) to pop it up. I used my Chocolate Chip and Melon Mambo SU Markers to ink the cupcake.

So what do you think?

Have a super day!

Razzleberry Lemonade Birthday!

Hi there stampers! Hope you are having a terrific day! And when life gives you lemons...make razzleberry lemonade! ;)

Today's card is actually a gift card holder. We learned how to make these at our Woo Hoo Stampers get together back in April. Super easy and super cute-just how I like it!

I started out with a piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock-it was already scored and I don't have the directions right now, but I'll give them to you if you ask for it when I get back from vacation. :) I added some of our new Razzleberry Lemonade DSP along the top pocket and took a piece of Melon Mambo and punched it with the Scallop Edge punch and adhered it to the edge of the bottom pocket. I added some Crushed Curry Polka Dot Ribbon around the gift card holder and stapled a piece to the top of the Melon Mambo note tag. The cupcake is stamped using my new In Color Markers and cut out and is from the Party Hearty stamp set.

You'll be happy to know there is nothing retired in this post!!

Thanks for stopping by to visit!
Hugs,
Elizabeth

Party Hearty

Godd Morning Stampers! How are you doing? Thanks for stopping by.
Today's card is a birthday card I used for a workshop last month. I cased it from here. I really liked it when I first saw it-I think it's the color combo that draws me to it.
Sorry for the short post today. It's my anniversary and my hubby is home-would be great if I didn't have to take my youngest in for x-rays. We think she might have either sprained or broken her wrist! Agh!

Ingredients:
Stamps: Party Hearty Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Not Quite Navy, WW Ink:Not Quite Navy, Real Red, SU Markers Accessories: Scallop Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, Ticket Corner Punch, Dimensionals, Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, Ridinghood Red Striped Ribbon
Have a super day! See you tomorrow!
