Hello There!

Hey there stampers!  Glad you stopped by to visit!
Today's card uses more card guts (I'm trying to clean out my ginormous stash!)and the Cheep Talk stamp set.  This literally took my longer to type the post than to make the card!



STEPS:


  1. Start with a Whisper White card base, add a panel of Brilliant Blue cut at 4 x 5 1/4 and a strip of Green Galore cut at 5 1/4 x 1/2.
  2. Using Stampin' Write Markers ink up the stamps from the Cheep Talk stamp set and stamp onto a piece of Whisper White cut at 3 x 3 1/2.
  3. Take a piece of Red Striped Ribbon and fold in half.  Punch through ribbon and card stock at the same time using the 1/16" Circle Punch and add White Brad.  Adhere to card.

  • STAMPS: Cheep Talk
  • INK: Stampin' Write Markers in Green Galore, Glorious Green, Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Basic Black.
  • PAPER: Green Galore, Brilliant Blue, Whisper White
  • ACCESSORIES: White Brad, Red Striped Ribbon
  • TOOLS: 1/16" Circle Punch

Birthday Bliss

Hey there stampers! Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you are having a fabulous weekend!
Today's card uses some more of my leftover card guts (pieces cut for a stamp camp or workshop that weren't used) and the Birthday Bliss stamp set.  Super simple.

STEPS:


  1. Start with Very Vanilla card stock base, add a panel of Rich Razzleberry cut at 4 x 5 1/4.
  2. Adhere some Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon around a piece of Very Vanilla cut at 3 3/4 x 5 and adhere to card.
  3. Stamp the sentiment from Wow Flowers and the Make a Wish image from the Birthday Bliss stamp set in Basic Black on Very Vanilla.  Punch the sentiment out witht he Word Window Punch and the Make a Wish with the Small Tag Punch.
  4. Layer the sentiment onto Basic Black punched with the Modern Label Punch, then onto Very Vanilla punched with the 1" Circle Punch and finally onto Rich Razzleberry punched with the Designer Label Punch.  Adhere to card.
  5. Punch Rich Razzleberry card stock with the Larger Tag Punch and layer the Make a Wish tag onto it.
    Staple ribbon (from my stash of Non-SU ribbon) onto tops of tags and adhere to card.

Enjoy Every Bite

Hey there stampers! Happy Friday!  I am so excited today because tonight is Judy's first ever stamp camp and I know it's going to be fabulous!
Today's card uses another image from the Twick or Tweet stamp set available from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  Super cute and so funny too!

STEPS:


  1. Start with Whisper White card base, add a panel of Basic Black card stock stamped in White craft ink using the Itty Bitty Background stamp set measuring 4 x 5 1/4.
  2. Add a piece of Old Olive DSP cut at 4 x 2 3/4 after puching two holes and adding two silver brads.
  3. Adhere a strip of Pumpkin Pie card stock with a strip of Basic Black card stock on top to card.
  4. Stamp the skeleton image from the Twick or Tweet stamp set in Black Craft ink on a square of Whisper White card stock cut at 2 1/2 x 2 3/4, sprinkle Clear Embossing Powder on it over your Powder Pal to catch the mess and set with Heat Tool.
  5. Mat onto Going Gray card stock cut at 2 3/4 x 3.  Add Orange Striped Ribbon with brad using 1/16" Circle Punch.  Adhere with Dimensionals to card.

  • INK: Black Craft Ink, White Craft Ink
  • PAPER: Going Gray, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive DSP, Whisper White

  • TOOLS: 1/16" Circle Punch, Powder Pal, Heat Tool

Crushed Curry Razzle Dazzle

Hey there stampers! Glad you stopped by to visit! :)



Today's card uses the Razzle Dazzle stamp set, the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP and Crushed Curry ink and Polka Dotted Ribbon, it wasn't exactly what I had in mind but turned out pretty neat anyway!


STEPS:

  1. Start out with Very Vanilla card base, add a panel of Rich Razzleberry card stock cut at 4 x 5 1/4.
  2. Take a piece of Very Vanilla card stock cut at 3 3/4 x 5 and tie some Crushed Curry Pola Dot Ribbon around it.  Add a square of Razzleberry Lemonade DSP measuring 3 3/4 x 3 3/4.
  3. Ink up the flowery image fromt he Razzle Dazzle stamp set first in Versamark and then immediately in Crushed Curry and stamp onto Very Vanilla measuring 2 3/4 x 2 1/2.  Sprinkle Clear embossing Powder over it using your Powder Pal to catch the mess and set with the Heat Tool.  Notch out the corners with the Ticket Corner Punch and mat onto a piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock cut at 2 3/4 x 3.  Adhere to card.

Today's card uses the brand new stamp set called Beary Best Friends.  You've seen a sneak peek using the boy bear in this set and thought I should use the same elements to make a girl bear card.  Cute, isn't it?


STEPS:

  1. Whisper White cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 folded in half, add a panel of Brilliant Blue cut at 4 x 5 1/4.
  2. Stamp the bear image from the Beary Best Friends stamp set in Jet Black Stazon ink, as well as the gifts and balloon on Whisper White card stock cut at 3 x 3 1/2.  Stamp another gift and balloon on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock and color all the images in using Stampin' Write Markers.  Cut out gift and balloon on scrap piece and adhere with dimensionals on main panel.
  3. Staple a piece of Red Striped ribbon in the upper right hand corner and adhere to card.
  4. Stamp the sentiment from the coordinating Beary Nice Wishes stamp set in Jet Black Stazon on a pieceof Whisper White cut at 3/4 x 2 and mat on Real Red card stock cut at 1 x 2 1/4.

Birthday Whimsy

Hey there stampers! Thanks for stopping by!
Today's card uses some of my left over card guts from my stamp camp last week.  I wanted to use a stamp set that hasn't seen any love in a while so I pulled out my Garden Whimsy stamp set.  It's such a cute set I don't know why I've been neglecting it!


STEPS:


  1. Start with a Brilliant Blue card stock base cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded in half.
  2. Take the butterfly image fromt he Garden Whimsy stamp set and ink it up in Real Red, stamp off onto a scratch paper, then roll just the edges in Real Red ink again.  This is called the "rock n' roll" technique.  Stamp it onto Whisper White cut at 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 and notch out the corners with the Ticket Corner Punch.
  3. Adhere it to a piece of Summer Sun cut at 3 x 4 1/2.  Knot a piece of Red Striped Ribbon around the end and adhere to card base.
  4. Stamp the sentiment from the All Holidays stamp set in Basic Black on a piece of Whisper White cut at 1/2 x 3 3/4 and add yellow brads to end.  Adhere to card.

Hey there stampers! Happy Monday!  Hope you had a great weekend!  Ours was HOT!
Today's card is a sneak peak as to what is available on Sept. 1st TOMORROW!!  This stamp comes from a stamp set called Twick or Tweet and is soo cute!  I had to have this Halloween set for sure when I saw the mini.


 
STEPS:

  1. Start out wioth a Whisper White card base cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and fold in half.  Add a panel of Basic Black card stock cut at 4 x 5 1/4 and stamped with Itty Bitty Backgrounds in Craft White Ink.
  2. Punch a piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock cut at 2 1/2 x 4 with the Scallop Edge Punch on both sides and cut in half.  Add scalloped piece to top and bottom of Old Olive DSP cut at 4 x 2 3/4.  Adhere to card.
  3. Add a strip of Basic Black 4 x 1 /4 to a strip of Vellum 4 x 1/2 and punch with 1/16 Circle Punch and add silver brads.  Adhere to card using Snail and Mini Glue Dots.
  4. Stamp Halloween bird from Twick or Tweet stamp set in Black Craft Ink on Whisper White card stock and emboss with Black Embossing Powder (Clear can be used also).  Set with Heat Tool and color in with Stampin' Write Markers.
  5. Punch out bird image with 1 3/4 Circle Punch and adhere to card with Dimensionals.

Birthday Giraffe

Hey there stampers! Happy Sunday!  It's been a lazy morning full of Bejeweled Blitz-the most addicting time sucking game I've ever played.  I can't stop!  I am hoping to break away from it long enough to stamp some more! :)
Today's card uses the Tall Tales DSP and the Animal Stories stamp set.  Super cute for a kid's birthday.
STEPS:


  1. Start with Whisper White card stock cut at 4 1/4 x 11 folded in half for your card base.  Add a panel of Tall Tales DSP cut at 4 x 4 .
  2. Punch a 4 x 1 piece of Chocolate Chip card stock with the Scallop Edge Punch and adhere to edge of Tall Tales DSP.  Add Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon around card and tie into knot.
  3. Stamp giraffe image from Animal Stories stamp set in Crushed Curry on Whisper White cut at 2 1/2 x 2 1/4 and color in spots, mane, eye, and horn with Soft Suede Stampin' Write Marker.  Mat on Old Olive card stock cut at 2 5/8 x 2 3/8.  Adhere to card.
  4. Add Linen Thread to button from Fresh Favorites II button collection.  Adhere to card using a Mini Glue Dot.
  5. Stamp sentiment from Wow Flowers in Chocolate Chip ink on edge of card.

    INK: Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip

Trendy Trees

Hey there stampers! Happy Saturday!  I know I am so late posting but I had nothing stamped and am having a hard time getting into the swing of things today.  I'm exhausted from this first week of school and work and soccer practices and it is so dang hot right now I can't think! :)
Today's card uses the Tall Tales DSP and the Trendy Trees stamp set, both cute and I think go well together.
STEPS:

  1. Start with a sheet of Whisper White cut at 4 1/4 x 11, fold in half and add a panel of Tall Tales DSP cut at 4 x 5 1/4.
  2. Add a strip of So Saffron card stock cut at 4 1/4 x 2 and punch three Chocolate Chip Scallop Squares from it.
  3. Using the Stamp-a-ma-jig stamp the trees and trunks from the Trendy Trees stamp set on Whisper White card stocka nd punch with the 1 1/4" Square Punch.  Layer onto Chocolate Chip Scallop Squares.  Adhere to card on So Saffron piece.
  4. Stamp sentiment in Chocolate Chip inkon Whisper White, punch with Word Window and layer onto Old Olive card stock punched with the Modern Label Punch.  Add Chocolate Chip punched with the 1 " Circle punch and layer onto So Saffron punched with the Designer Label Punch.  Adhere to card.  Add Old Olive grosgrain ribbon to top of card tied into a knot.

  • INK: Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Close to Cocoa, Certainly Celery

Clean and Simple

Hey there stampers! Thanks for stopping by!
Today's card is super simple and clean looking.  I used the gifts from the Beary Best Friends stamp set and the sentiment from the Wow Flowers stamp set.  It literally took only minutes to make.



STEPS:


  1. Start with a card base of Tempting Turquoise cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" folded in half.
  2. Stamp 5 gifts from the Beary Best Friends stamp set on scrap Whisper White in Jet Black Stazon ink.  Color in with Stampin' Write Markers and punch out with the 1" Circle Punch.
  3. Stamp sentiment from Wow Flowers stamp set in Tempting Turquoise and punch with the 1" Circle Punch.  Add orange brad to center using the 1 /16" Circle Punch.
  4. Using the 1 1/4" Circle Punch punch out 3 circles in Only Orange and 3 circles in Yo Yo Yellow. Layer the gifts and sentiment on them.  Adhere to card.

  • INK: Jet Black Stazon, Tempting Turquoise, Stampin' Write Markers
  • PAPER: Only Orange, Yo Yo Yellow, Whisper White, Temptting Turquoise

Happy First Day of School!

Hey there stampers!Happy first day of school!  Well at least it's the first day of school here for the Fortuna Family :)  It's also my first day at my new part time job at a Non-Profit Spay and Nueter Clinic.  Cross your fingers that all goes smooth as I re-enter the working world! ;)
Today's card was super simple and quick to make and very pretty!  I love the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set!




STEPS:


  1. Start with a Whisper White card base measuring 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and folded in half and add a panel of Bermuda Bay cut at 4" x 5 1/4".
  2. Stamp the flowers from the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set randomly in Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede and Basic Black on Whisper White cut at 3 3/4" x 5".
  3. Add the Bermuda Bay Polka Dot Ribbon adhering it in the back.
  4. Stamp the sentiment from the Wow Flowers stamp set in Basic Black on Whisper White scrap, punch with Word Window Punch.  Take scrap Bermuda Bay and punch with Modern Label Punch add sentiment to it.
  5. Using the 1" Circle punch punch a circle out of scrap Basic Black add to Soft Suede card stock punched with Designer Label Punch.  Add sentiment to it and adhere to card.

  • STAMPS: Wow Flowers, Fifth Svenue Floral
  • INK: Soft Suede, Basic Black, Bermuda Bay
  • PAPER: Soft Suede, Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White
  • ACCESSORIES: Bermuda Bay Polka Dot Ribbon
  • TOOLS: Modern Label, 1" Circle, Word Window and Designer Label Punches

Pastel Medallion

Hey there stampers! Thanks for stopping by!  It is the last day of summer for us and I am sad to see it go.  But with three kids in school guess who will have more time for stamping!! :)
Today's card was inspired by one I saw on Splitcoast.  Of course now I can't find it again but it was wonderful.  I just had to give it a try.



STEPS:


  1. Start with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Whisper White card stock base.  Add a panel of Tempting Turquoise card stock cut at 4" x 5 1/4".
  2. Ink up the Medallion stamp in Versamark ink and stamp on a piece of Whisper White card stock.  Using Sponge Daubers and Stampin' Pastels color in your Medallion and cut out. 
  3. Add a Circle Fire Rhinestone to center of Medallion and adhere to card.
  4. Stamp sentiment from Oval All stamp set in Basic Black ink.  Using a Versamark Pen ink up flowers one at a time and dab chalk from Stampin' Pastels to color in.  Use eraser in the Pastel box to erase any out of the lines.
  5. Punch sentiment using the Large Oval Punch and mat on Pink Passion punched with the Scallop Oval Punch.  Add to card.

  • STAMPS: Oval All, Medallion
  • INK: Basic Black, Versamark, Versamark Pen
  • PAPER: Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White, Pink Passion
  • ACCESSORIES: Circle Fire Rhinestone Brad, Stampin' Pastels
  • TOOLS: Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, 1/16 Circle Punch, Sponge Daubers

Last Stamp Camp Card

Hey there stampers! Sorry for such a late post-it's been a crazy day!  I had Kindergarten orientation for my youngest today plus I was in charge of the Teacher Welcome Baskets for the whole school so I spent my day schlepping baskets and delivering them all over the school! 
Today's card is the last one we did at my stamp camp this weekend.  It is almost exactly like one I made and posted before except I changed added silver brads instead of silver card stock circles.  I love these silhouette stamps!




STEPS:


  1. Start with a Whisper White card stock base cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Add a panel of Basic Black card stock cut at 4" x 5 1/4" and some Old Olive DSP cut at 4" x 3".
  2. Add a strip of Basic Black card stock down the Old Olive DSP and using the 1/16" Circle punch add brads to corner.
  3. Stamp Extreme Surfboard in Black Craft Ink on Whisper White and emboss with Black Embossing Powder.  Mat on Basic Gray and add to card with Dimensionals.
  4. Stamp sentiment from Sock Monkey stamp set in Basic Black.  Punch with Word Window Punch and  add to Basic gray punched with Modern Label Punch.  Adhere to card with Dimensionals.

  • STAMPS: Extreme Surfboard, Sock Monkey
  • INK:Black Craft Ink
  • PAPER: Whisper white, Basic Gray, Old Olive DSP, Basic Black
  • ACCESSORIES: Silver Brads, Black Embossing Powder, Powder Pal, Embossing Buddy, and Heat Tool
  • TOOLS: Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch
