Birthday Bot

Hey there stampers! I'm happy you stopped by today!
Today's card is the last of the ones we made at my Birthday Stamp Camp.  It's a revised version of the one I made HERE.  It's a  CASE of one I saw on Splitcoast Stampers HERE.  It's a cute card but a lot of my stamping ladies hated the binary code stamp and using the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig!  Sorry guys!  It just takes a bit of practice.  A few stamped the code over and over throughout the whole background and it looked great even if it wasn't "perfect".  Good job, girls!

STEPS:

  1. Stamp the robot from the Lots of Bots stamp set in Versamark Ink after wiping the Whisper White card stock with the Embossing Buddy to remove any static or oils from your fingers.  Sprinkle Black Embossing Powder over it and tap off the excessinto your Powder Pal.  Return the excess to your container to use again.  Heat set with Heat Tool.
  2. Color the robot in using Stampin' Write Markers and punch side with the Spiral Punch.
  3. Stamp the binary code in Bermuda Bay using the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig along the top and bottom of your card base of Bermuda Bay card stock.
  4. Add a square of Basic Black card stock to your card and adhere your stamped piece on top.
  5. Add a panel of Brushed Silver card stock with some Black Grosgrain Ribbon tied around it with a knot.
  6. Stamp the nuts and bolts image in Basic Black on Whisper White and punch with the 3/4" Circle Punch.  Add to Basic Black punched with the 1" Circle punch and adhere to card with a Dimensional.

INGREDIENTS:

  • STAMPS: Lots of Bots
  • INK: Basic Black, Versamark, Bermuda Bay, Stampin' Write Markers
  • PAPER: Bermuda Bay, Basic Black, Whisper White, Brushed Silver
  • ACCESSORIES: Black Grograin Ribbon, Dimensionals
  • TOOLS: Spiral, 3/4" and 1" Circle Punches, Stamp-A-Ma-Jig

Happy Stampin'!

Happy Birthday Human!

Hey there stampers! Hope you are having a great day!
Today's card is one I saw on SplitCoast Stampers done by marylovestostamp and thought it was a great card for a boy!  You can see hers HERE. I am still playing around with it and might use it for one of the cards we are making at my upcoming birthday stamp camp.

STEPS:

  1. Stamp the robot from the Lots of Bots stamp set in Jet Black Stazon ink and color in with Stampin' Write Markers.  Punch side of your Whisper White piece with the Spiral Punch.
  2. Adhere Whisper White panel to your card base of Bermuda Bay.
  3. Add a panel of Brushed Silver card stock with Black Grosgrain Ribbon knotted around to your card base.
  4. Stamp the numbers from the same stamp set in Bermuda Bay aloong the bottom of your card.  I probably should have used the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig since you can see they are not all that straight!
  5. Stamp the nuts and bolts in Jet Black Stazon and punch with the 3/4" Circle Punch.  Mat onto Basic Black punched with teh 1" Circle Punch.  Adhere to card with a Dimensional.

INGREDIENTS:

  • STAMPS: Lots of Bots
  • INK: Bermuda Bay, Jet Black Stazon, Stampin' Write Markers
  • PAPER: Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Basic Black, Brushed Silver
  • ACCESSORIES: Black Grograin Ribbon
  • TOOLS: Spiral, 3/4" Circle and 1" Circle Punches

So what do you think?  I'd love to hear!

Another Opus Gluei Challenge Card!

Hey there Stampers! How are you?

Today's card uses a fun technique called Faux Metal you- can find the tutorial HERE.
I started out with a Whisper White Card stock base (#100730) and added a panel of Basic Gray card stock (#108692)stamped with the nuts and bolts image in Versamark Ink (#102283) from the Lots of Bots stamp set (#115293) and a panel of Old Olive DSP (#112160). I stamped the robot and the nuts and bolts stamps following the Faux Metal technique. I matted the robot on Basic Black card stock (#102851)and added Silver Brads (#104336) using my 1/16" Handheld Punch (#101227). I punched the Faux Metal nuts and bolts with my 1/2" Circle Punch (#104390) and matted it on Basic Black punched with the 3/4" Circle Punch (#107217).

The result is super neat even if my balloon didn't quite turn out ;)

Have a super day!

Elizabeth

Lots of Bots

Hey there stampers! Thanks for stopping by!

Today's card uses the super cute new set called Lots of Bots. It is the perfect set for a little boys birthday or to give a guy when he's not feeling well! It's fun to color too!

I started out with a Ballet Blue card base and stamped the rows of numbers and nuts and bolts in the same color for the background. I stamped my bot in Black Stazon and colored it in with my SU markers in Going Gray, Summer Sun and Ballet Blue. I notched out the corners with my Ticket Corner Punch and matted it on some Summer Sun. The final touch are the silver Metal Stickers from Joann's $1 spot. Love those little buggers!

Hope you are having a great day!
Hugs,
Elizabeth
