The More the Merrier Halloween Style!

Hey there stampers! Happy World card Making Day!  Today I am having some fabulous ladies over for my Halloween Stamp Camp and we are going to have a blast!

Today's card is one we are making today that uses the spotlighting technique I showed at my Technique class last week.  Super cute huh?

STEPS:

  1. Start with a Pumpkin Pie card base, add a layer of Basic Black cut at 5 1/4 x 4 and Cast a Spell DSP cut at 3 7/8x 5 1/8.
  2. Stamp the row of pumpkins from the More the Merrier Hostess set twice on Whisper White and mat one onto Basic Black.  Color in two of the pumpkins on the unmatted piece and punch with the 1" Circle Punch.  Adhere to Perfect Plum punched with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch and then adhere directly over the same pumpkin on the matted piece with a Dimensional.
  3. Add a thin strip of Basic Black card stock across bottom of card and stamp sentiment from All Holidays stamp set in Basic Black on Whisper White and punch out with Word Window Punch.
  4. Take a scrap of Basic Black and punch with Designer Label Punch.  Add a 1" Circle of Pumpkin Pie to Designer Label piece.
  5. Take Happy Halloween word window piece and add to Old Olive punched with the Modern Label Punch.  Add this to the designer label and adhere to card.

INGREDIENTS:

  • STAMPS: All Holidays, The More the Merrier (hostess set)
  • INK: Basic Black, Stampin' Write Markers
  • PAPER: Cast-A-Spell DSP, Basic Black, Perfect Plum, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White
  • ACCESSORIES: Dimensionals

Happy Birthday,Molly!

Hey there stampers! Thanks for stopping by!

Today's card is a birthday card for my fabulous friend, Molly. She's the one who makes my blog look so pretty! It's her birthday today and I hope she has a terrific day!

I used a retired stamp set called Here Kitty, Kitty, the new C is for Cat stamp set and the Hostess Level 3 set called The More the Merrier to make this card. It is a stair step fold card and super fun with it's multi levels.

STEPS:

  1. Take your Kraft card stock cut at 10 1/2" x 5 1/2" and score at 1 1/4", 2 1/2", 4 1/4", 6" and 8 1/4". Fold to make mountains and valleys.
  2. Using Jet Black Stazon stamp the background using the paw print and fish images from the C is for Cat set, the mouse and yarn images are from the Here Kitty, Kitty set.
  3. Stamp the kitties in Jet Black Stazon, color and cut out. Stamp the cupcakes from the More the Merrier stamp set in Jet Black Stazon on a strip of Whisper White card stock and color in.
  4. Add White Gel Pen doodle dots to the edges of Bermuda Bay die cut with the Scallop Circles #2 Sizzix Bigz Die, adhere to back panel of card. Punch Kraft card stock with 1 3/4" circle Punch and adhere to center of scallop circle.
  5. Stamp sentiment from Here Kitty Kitty set on a square of Whisper White card stock, mat on Kraft and add Kraft card stock punched with Word Window Punch to make the sign.
INGREDIENTS:

  • STAMPS: Here Kitty, Kitty (retired), C is for Cat (#115764), The More the Merrier Hostess Level 3
  • INK: Jet Black Stazon, Stampin' Write Markers

The More the Merrier

Hey there stampers! Glad you stopped by to visit!

Today's card is a Christmas card! I know it's only August but it will be December before you know it so I thought what they hey! I used the More the Merrier Hostess level 3 stamp set for this card along with Karen's awesome sketch #29!

I made my card by cutting a piece of Kraft cardstock to 9"x 8" and folded it in half so it fits perfectly in a business size envelope. I stamped the snowflake image from the Season of Friendship stamp set (#111776)in White Craft ink(#101731) randomly on the Kraft card base.
Next I stamped the snowmen from from the Hostess set The More the Merrier in Jet Black Stazon ink (#101406). I colored them in with Basic Black, Tempting Turquoise and Bermuda Bay Markers and added torn strips of Whisper White card stock, went along the edge with my 2-Way Glue Pen(#100425) and added Dazzling Diamonds(#102023). I matted the snowmen on Basic Black card stock(#102851) and then added it to a panel of Bermuda Bay card stock (#115317)with strips of Tempting Turquoise card stock (#102067). The sentiment is stamped in Jet Black Stazon as well and mounted on a mat of Basic Black and popped up on Dimensionals (#104430). The final touch is a White Metal snowman I picked up in the clearance bin at the Eyelet Outlet booth at the Scrapbook Expo a couple months ago.
So whatcha think? Make you want to drink hot cocoa and sing carols? Me neither but I like the card!! ;)
Hope you are having a terrific day!

Another Sneak Peak

Hi there Stampers! Hope your weekend was terrific!

So while I was stamping the other day using up my card gut collection of Pink Pirouette Pocket cards I made this card. I had the new Level 3 Hostess set called The More Merrier and wanted to stamp the birds. They are so cute!

I started with my Pink Pirouette Pocket, added a Scallop Edge Border of Regal Rose and stamped the birds in Black Stazon. I colored them in using my SU Markers and added hearts from the Heart to Heart Punch in Pretty in Pink and regal Rose to the bottom. The card inside is a Top Note piece of Regal Rose and Whisper White. I sponged the edges and added a Round Tab Punch of Pretty in Pink with an eyelet and some Pink Gingham Ribbon to make it easier to pull out.

I think I've used up all my Pink Pirouette Pockets! :)

Thanks for checking in with me! Have a great day and hope you'll come back again soon!

Hugs,
Elizabeth

The More The Merrier

Good Morning Stampers!

Today we are at the lake on the boat and camping for Father's day. I am sure we are having a blast on the tube we bought for Mother's Day and wake boarding.

Today is also my new recruit Jen's birthday! Happy Birthday Jen! I, of course, made her a birthday card!

I started out with a Pink Pirouette pocket and stamped it with one of the background stamps from the Itty Bitty Backgrounds stamp set in Pretty in Pink. I added a piece of Regal Rose punched with the Scallop Edge Punch and decorated with White Gel Pen doodle dots. The cupcakes are from a new Level 3 Hostess Set called The More the Merrier available with a qualifying workshop in July. I could not resist this set! Luckily as a demonstrator I could buy one in advance! One of the many perks of being a demonstrator!

I colored in the cupcakes with my SU Markers and stamped one more to cut out and put on the front of the card. I punched it out with the 1" Circle Punch, layered it on some Pretty in Pink punched with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch and then layered on a Regal Rose Scallop Circle. Time and time again I use these circle punches and the scallop circle punch-they are well loved!
For the inside I die cut some WW and Pretty in Pink cardstock with the Top Note die and trimmed the WW one to fit inside the Pretty in Pink. I sponged the edges and stamped the sentiment from the Birthday Hugs and Wishes stampset in Black Stazon. I added a Pink Pirouette Round Tab and some Pink Gingham Ribbon to make it easier to pull it out. All I can say is super stinkin' cute!

Hope you are having a terrific weekend!
