Medallion Thank You

Hey there stampers! I'm so happy you stopped by to visit today!  Be sure to leave a comment andlet me know you've stopped by! :)
Today's card uses the most popular selling stamp in the Stampin' Up Idea Book and Catalog right now, the Medallion stamp.  I originally was playing around with this image to create something else that didn't quite work out and had it sitting on my table waiting for me to do something with it.  So here it is!

STEPS:

  1. Start with a Basic Black card stock base.  Stamp the Medallion stamp in Versamark ink and emboss with Black Embossing Powder using the Powder Pal tray and Heat Tool.
  2. Cut image in half and mat on Real Red card stock.  Add to card.
  3. Stamp the sentiment from the Pocket Silhouettes stamp set in Basic Black on Whisper White and punch with the Word Window Punch.  Mat onto Real Red punched with the Modern Label Punch.
INGREDIENTS:

  • STAMPS: Medallion, Pocket Silhouettes
  • INK: Basic Black, VersamarkBasic Black
  • PAPER: Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White
  • ACCESSORIES: Black Embossing Powder
  • TOOLS: Heat Tool, Powder Pal, Embossing Buddy, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch

Have a super day!
Hugs,

  1. I like this; very elegant and regal looking. Looks like a very versatile stamp and I think your card looks grand, that would be a nice kind of card to have on hand when you need it.
