Very Thankful Turtle

Hey there stampers! Thanks for stopping by!  I had a great weekend and hope you did too!  Friday night I had some fabulous ladies over to stamp and eat some delish appetizers supplied by my friend and Tastefully Simple Consultant, Rachel.  Saturday we did more stamping with a second group of ladies and Sunday I had kitty adoptions where both my fosters got wonderful homes and went to the "drive in" movies with my family at the community center!  Fun!
Today's card is another made with the turtle from the Very Thankful stamp set.  I just love this little guy so I stamped him a few times and put together another few cards with him for Rachel to thank her for donating all the yummies!

STEPS:

  1. Stamp the turtle image from the Very Thankful stamp set in Jet Black Stazon Ink on Whisper White card stock and color in with Stampin' Write Markers.
  2. Layer onto a piece of Old Olive card stock and then onto Close to Cocoa card stock punched with the Ticket Corner Punch and add a Kraft Corderoy Brad.
  3. Take your Real Red card stock base and run it through the Big Shot with an embossing folder (mine is non-SU). Punch the edge with the Scallop Edge Punch and add a strip of Whisper White card stock to the inside edge to show off the scallops.
  4. Adhere turtle to card front.

  • PAPER: Real Red, Old Olive, Whisper White, Close to Cocoa
