Frankenstein Post-It Note Holder

Hey there stampers! Thanks for stopping by!  We had a great time last night at Allison's workshop!  I'll show you what we made this week. :)
Today I am going to show you a Post-It Note Holder that I made using my Bind-It-All machine, Stampin' Up Punches and card stock!  Isn't he cute?!

STEPS:

  1. Cover two square chipboard pieces (in this case I covered a couple of coasters I got from a local restaurant-with permission!).  I covered them with Old Olive card stock and used a Sanding Block to smooth out the edges.
  2. Take a piece of Basic Black card stock and cut it to make hair and adhere to top of front coaster.
  3. Bind your coasters with the Bind-It-All machine or if you don't have one you could punch holes with the Cropadile and add ribbon.
  4. Using the 3/4" Circle Punch punch 2 Whisper White pieces for eyes and 2 Old Olive pieces cut in half (you'll have a left over half)for the eyelids and nose.  Sponge Old Olive on the eyelids and nose for added depth.  Adhere to front.
  5. Using the 1/2" Circle Punch punch out 2 pieces of Basic Black for the eyeballs.  Use a White Gel Pen to make highlights on the eyes.  Add mouth and stitches with a Black Stampin' Write Marker.  Add Post-Its inside.

INGREDIENTS:

  • STAMPS: none
  • INK: Old Olive, Stampin' Write Marker, White Gel Pen
  • PAPER: Basic Black, Old Olive
  • ACCESSORIES: none
  • TOOLS: Bind-it-All Machine and coil, 1/2" and 3/4" Circle Punches, Sponge

Super cute!  I pretty much cased this from Angie Kennedy Juda and Dawn Griffith projects last year.  These ladies are just amazing!
Hugs,
