Birthday Giraffe

Hey there stampers! Happy Sunday!  It's been a lazy morning full of Bejeweled Blitz-the most addicting time sucking game I've ever played.  I can't stop!  I am hoping to break away from it long enough to stamp some more! :)
Today's card uses the Tall Tales DSP and the Animal Stories stamp set.  Super cute for a kid's birthday.
STEPS:

  1. Start with Whisper White card stock cut at 4 1/4 x 11 folded in half for your card base.  Add a panel of Tall Tales DSP cut at 4 x 4 .
  2. Punch a 4 x 1 piece of Chocolate Chip card stock with the Scallop Edge Punch and adhere to edge of Tall Tales DSP.  Add Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon around card and tie into knot.
  3. Stamp giraffe image from Animal Stories stamp set in Crushed Curry on Whisper White cut at 2 1/2 x 2 1/4 and color in spots, mane, eye, and horn with Soft Suede Stampin' Write Marker.  Mat on Old Olive card stock cut at 2 5/8 x 2 3/8.  Adhere to card.
  4. Add Linen Thread to button from Fresh Favorites II button collection.  Adhere to card using a Mini Glue Dot.
  5. Stamp sentiment from Wow Flowers in Chocolate Chip ink on edge of card.
