A New Challenge to Love!

Hi there stampers! Happy Friday to you!

While surfing around I found another challenge blog to play along with called the Pals Paper Arts blog. This is their first challenge and I was more than happy to play along with them! :) Their first challenge was to use Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Chocolate Chip.

These colors were easy to work with and I paired it with the Mojo Monday sketch of the week.

The result was this cute birthday card. I used the Party Hearty stamp set (#111532), the Retro Remix Wheel (#115619), and some Razzleberry Lemonade DSP (#115675) along with Bermuda Bay ink (#115655)and cardstock (#115317), my Coluzzle (don't have the Circle Scissors yet!) Chocolate Chip (#102128) and Whisper White (#100730)cardstock, 3/4" Circle Punch(#107217), Photo Corners Punch (#109042)and Dimensionals(#104430) to pop it up. I used my Chocolate Chip and Melon Mambo SU Markers to ink the cupcake.

So what do you think?

Have a super day!

  1. I love the card - the sentiment makes me chuckle and I'm really liking the retro vibe of those colors - maybe I'm the only one who'll see that but still, I like it a lot! Another excellent project, Elizabeth!

  2. Very cute card Elizabeth! Great combination of the 2 challenges!

  3. Elizabeth - this is a perfect combination of the 2 challenges. And it seems like Melon Mambo and Chocolate Chip are a match made in heaven for cupcakes! SO cute! Thanks for playing at PPA!

  4. Your card is so cute, Elizabeth! I love how you combined the two challenges! Great job with the colors, too! Thanks for participating in PPA's first challenge!
