Sweet Sunday Sketch

Hi there stampers! Phew it's been a busy morning! With the last chance list out and sneak peaks it's been an exciting morning for sure! To check out the retiring list see the post below!

Today's card is a birthday card I made for a friend. I used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch for the week and the Cheers to You stamp set. I started out with some blank stationary I got from my friend, Allison (waving Hi!) who schlepped it all the way from England! Fancy schmancy paper-I had to hold my pinky up while stamping the whole time! ;) Hee hee!
I added a layer of Real Red cardstock stamped in the same color with the sentiment from the Cheers to You stamp set and two strips from the Rockabilly Specialty Designer Series paper. Yep, it's on the Last Chance List and super cute with all the cherries and shiny elements! Next I stamped the beer mug randomly in Basic Black on WW and then again on a scrap piece of WW and cut it out after coloring it in with my Summer Sun SU Marker. Next I used some Crystal Effects on my cut out and colored beer mug to give it some sheen. Make sure you are really patient when you use Crystal Effects and WAIT FOR IT TO DRY before you pick it up or you will be stamping it AGAIN! When it was dry, I adhered it with a couple of Dimensionals and ta-da! It was done.

Hope you enjoyed my super simple card today! Hope to see you again soon!
Hugs,
Elizabeth
